Comparison of the hardest $k_{\mathrm{T,g}}$ jet splitting found using soft drop with z_cut = 0.2, beta = 0 for R = 0.2 jets in pp and 30-50% PbPb collisions at 5 TeV. The range of the semi-central PbPb is determined by requiring sufficient subjet purity and kinematic efficiency. The z_cut enables a larger kt range. Within uncertainties, the pp and semi-central PbPb are consistent with no modification at high kt, with a hint of modification at low kt.

The ratio is compared with hybrid model predictions with and without Moliere scattering, as well as JETSCAPE v3.5 AA22. The data are consistent with all predictions.
