Ds-jet longitudinal momentum fraction in pp collisions at 13 TeV

Description

$\rm D_{s}^{+}$ tagged jets are reconstructed from tracks of charged particles using the anti-$k_{\rm T}$ algorithm with a resolution parameter $R~=~0.4$. $\rm D_{s}^{+}$ meson  identified by the presence of a $\rm D_{s}^{+}$ meson among the constituents, reconstructed through the hadronic decay channel, $\rm D_{s}^{+} \to \phi\pi^{+} \to K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{+}$, in the rapidity interval of $|y|~<~0.8$. The results are performed in the jet transverse momentum interval of $\rm 7 < \it{p}_{\rm T}^{\rm jet~ch.}~<\rm~15~GeV/\it{c}$ with the $p_{\rm T}^{\rm D_{s}^{+}}$ from 3 to 24 $\rm GeV/\it{c}$. The fragmentation function is measured with the fraction of the jet momentum carried by the $\rm D_{s}^{+}$ meson in the direction of the jet axis, which is reported in the interval of $0.4 < z_{\parallel} < 1.0$.
