The nuclear modification factor with ML-based and area-based corrections are show for R = 0.4 jets in 0-10% collisions. In the left panel, these nuclear modification factors are shown in comparison to the fragmenation bias curves for a toy model with three different modificaitons. For the fractional modifications, a 10% fractional loss is applied to the constituents. On the right panel, these nuclear modifications factors are comapred to various models. Note that the ML-based nuclear modification factor and the area-based nuclear modification factor are compared to the same pp reference, which does not include a leading track bias. The models which are shown here also do not have this requirement. For the area-based case the Pb--Pb spectrum does include a leading track bias of 7 GeV/c.
