Neutral pion (left) and $\eta$ meson (right) spectra in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV and p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=8.16$ TeV together with NLO calculations, Pythia8 and two-component model fits.
