Left column: Uncorrected Delta recoil distributions as a function of azimuth in minimum bias (MB) and high multiplicity (HM) pp 13 TeV events.   Signal and reference recoil jet spectra were associated to single inclusive TT{20,30} and TT{6,7} hadrons.   Recoil jets were selected to be charged anti-kt R=0.4 jets. Jet pt is quoted in legend. Area of the selected jets was contrained to be larger than 0.3 and their pseudorapidity was constrained to the range less than 0.5.  Systematic error bars are shown as boxes around the data points and they are due to track reconstruction efficiecy uncertainty.  Middle column:  Delta recoil distributions as obtained from PYTHIA detector level events and PYTHIA detector level events that were embedded to MB pp 13 TeV data (Hybrid) .  Right column:   Delta recoil distributions as obtained from PYTHIA detector level events and PYTHIA detector level events that were embedded to HM pp 13 TeV data (Hybrid) .

 

Detail description

Left column: Uncorrected Delta recoil distributions as a function of azimuth in minimum bias (MB) and high multiplicity (HM) pp 13 TeV events.   Signal and reference recoil jet spectra were associated to single inclusive TT{20,30} and TT{6,7} hadrons.   Recoil jets were selected to be charged anti-kt R=0.4 jets. Jet pt is quoted in legend. Area of the selected jets was contrained to be larger than 0.3 and their pseudorapidity was constrained to the range less than 0.5.  Systematic error bars are shown as boxes around the data points. They are due to track reconstruction efficiecy uncertainty and they are for both cases correlated.  HM events come from HM V0M trigger and have constrained  V0M/<V0M> multiplicity to cut away the turn-on region of the trigger (below 5) and pile-up region (above 9) .    Presented results correspond to integrated statistics from 2016, 2017 and 2018. .  Middle column:  Delta recoil distributions as obtained from PYTHIA detector level events and PYTHIA detector level events that were embedded to MB pp 13 TeV data (Hybrid) .  Right column:   Delta recoil distributions as obtained from PYTHIA detector level events and PYTHIA detector level events that were embedded to HM pp 13 TeV data (Hybrid) .
