Comparison of ALPIDE sensor response and ALICE simulation in the
case of beam test on perpendicular track PS beam (6 GeV).
Detail description
Relative frequency of different cluster shapes obtained in the
measurement when the ALPIDE sensor was irradiated with a 6 GeV/c pi- beam from the Proton
Synchrotron at CERN. Data are compared with distribution calculated with Monte Carlo simulation ( O2 version is 4.1.4 Version ). The MC simulation is described in “Study of Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors for the Upgrade of the ALICE Inner Tracking System”,Suljic Miljenko, CERN-THESIS-2017-304.
The beam was perpendicular to the chip.
