The strongly intensive quantity Σ obtained for HIJING, EPOS, and AMPT generated simulations of Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN = 2.76 and 5.02 TeV, and Xe–Xe collisions at √sNN = 5.44 TeV and plotted as a function size of centrality for the fixed value of pseudorapidity gap ∆η = 1.2. Results for MC HIJING and MC AMPT were obtained for centrality selection via V0, while for MC EPOS via impact parameter.

Note: the centrality estimator is not marked explicitly in the figure because it is known that Σ is a strongly intensive quantity and therefore remains independent on the centrality estimator (see also Fig. ALI-PREL-305604 and Fig. ALI-SIMUL-305884, or AN https://alice-notes.web.cern.ch/node/676 for more details).
