The $p_{\rm{T}}$-differential production cross section of prompt  $\rm{D}^{+}$ mesons with $|y|<0.5$ in the interval $1<p_{\rm{T}}<24$ GeV/$c$, in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV, compared to POWHEG+PYTHIA6 calculations. Detail description

The $p_{\rm{T}}$-differential production cross section of prompt $\rm{D}^{+}$ mesons with $|y|<0.5$ in the interval $1<p_{\rm{T}}<24$ GeV/$c$, in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV (published pass4 paper). The cross section is compared to POWHEG+PYTHIA6 calculations. The ratio of the data to the calculated cross section is shown in the lower part of the figure.  In the data-to-theory ratios the 3.5% normalisation uncertainty due to the luminosity determination, as well as the uncertainty due to the branching ratio are not included in the systematic uncertainty on the data points. Data samples used are LHC10b,c,d,e pass4, with corresponding MC productions LHC15a2a.
