Experimental and theoretical uncertainties of the nuclear modification factor ($R_{pA}$) at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=8.16$ TeV. The statistical and systematic uncertainties of the measurement are denoted by black markers, whereas the theoretical uncertainties are denoted by colored lines. The theoretical nPDF uncertainties are obtained by calculating the $R_{pA}$ for all respective nPDF members using the JETPHOX program at NLO and determining the uncertainty at 90 percent confidence level following the LHAPDF guidelines.
