Comparison of grooming methods with PYTHIA for finding the hardest $k_{\mathrm{T,g}}$ jet splitting for R = 0.2 in pp collisions at 5 TeV. The grooming methods are soft drop zcut = 0.2, and dynamical grooming with a = 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0. All grooming methods converge to the same splittings at high, with variations at low to mid kt. PYTHIA8 Monash 2013 describes the data within uncertainties
