Isolated–hadron signal region (black circles) and background region (grey squares) correlations in  p–Pb collisions at sqrt(s) = 5.02 TeV as measured by the ALICE detector. The shower signal region photons correspond to isolated clusters with sigma2long< 0.3, while the shower background region photons correspond to isolated clusters with sigma2long > 0.4. The vertical bars represent statistical uncertainty only. The horizontal bars represent the bin width in |delta phi|.

Detail description

The correlation functions in  p–Pb in the shower shape signal region and shower shape background region. The background region correlations have been scaled by (1-P), where P is the purity . Then the background region correlations will be subtracted from the signal region correlations in order to obtain the subtracted correlation functions.
