Particle yield ratios  (p $+$ $\mathrm{\overline p}$)$/$($\mathrm{K^{*0}}$ $+$ $\overline{\mathrm{K}}^{*0}$)  in panel (a) and  (p $+$ $\mathrm{\bar p}$)$/$(2$\phi$) in panel (b), both as a function of $p_{\mathrm{T}}$ for 0--10% central Pb--Pb collisions and inelastic pp collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$ $=$ 5.02 TeV.  For comparison, similar ratios are also shown for 0--5% central Pb--Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}$ $=$ 2.76 TeV.
