Test of baseline fit functions with PYTHIA-Perugia2011 for 7 TeV pp K0sK+ correlations.
Detail description
Although PYTHIA-Perugia2011 is seen to only qualitatively describe the baseline of the K0sKch data from 7 TeV pp collisions, it can be used as a testbed for various baseline functions that can be fit to the data. Shown here is a comparison of three baseline functions, i.e. quadratic, exponential and Gaussian, with PYTHIA showing that each of them does a good job in fitting C(k*) from PYTHIA.
